Category:Help needed

The articles below have been identified by the community as needing help for various reasons. Some may require an image (such as a logo for an organization). Some may require text to help identify the subject. Anyone can add articles to this category by adding the text {{Help}} to the top of the page. This will produce a banner on the top of the page indicating the article condition and add the article to the category below.

[edit] How to help

• Images may be uploaded at Special:Upload, accessible from the sidebar on any page. Once uploaded, an image can be added to a page just as easily as any wikilink. Just add [[Image:example.jpg]] to the portion of the page that needs the image (the format may or may not be .jpg). See Help:Images for more information.

• Our help pages contain some help for simple text and formatting issues. More complicated work may require some of the help documentation for the mediawiki software in general.

• We have a content agreement with Colopedia, so if some information there will be helpful here, please bring it over and include attribution to the source by placing {{Colopedia}} at the bottom of the page.

• Since we are a GFDL project, any text can be copied from a GFDL compliant website to here with the proper attribution. This is very important. There is a guide for copying whole pages over here, but the basic idea is this:

1. If the text has been added by fewer than 10 authors, copy and paste the page history (accessible from the tabs on the top of the page) for the specific item to the "discussion" (or talk) page here.
2. Then copy and paste the specific text, noting in the edit summary where you got it and where the attribution is.

• If the text has more than ten authors, ask an admin for help. We would prefer to import the entire page history rather than add elements piece by piece.

• If YOUR organization or your organization's primary issue is listed as needing help, you can help us easily. Just hop on and start adding to your page.
